Shelly Pro 3EM-400 is a DIN rail mounted three phase energy meter. It is equipped with all the flexibility of gen2 software and LAN connectivity, providing professional integrators with more options for end-user solutions. It can operate standalone on a local LAN and/or Wi-Fi network or can also be used with cloud-based home automation services via MQTT, HTTP and WebSocket. All incoming connections support TLS encryption.

The device reports accumulated energy and instantaneous voltage, current, active and apparent power for each phase in real time. It stores the data in non-volatile memory, from which it can be retrieved for up to 60 days at 1-minute intervals. The device also has a real-time clock to keep the correct time even if the connection to the SNTP server is lost.

Shelly Pro 3EM-400 can be operated, installed and monitored remotely by the user, and the device can also operate and communicate with the automation system as long as they are on the same network infrastructure. The device has an embedded web interface that can be used to monitor and control the device and adjust its settings.

Note: The device does not have a built-in relay. Contactor control is possible using the Shelly Pro Add-on connected to the Shelly Pro 3EM-400.
