Grundfos' small (diameter 74 mm) SQE borehole pumps are designed specifically for domestic and holiday home water supply and irrigation systems.
The SQE pump is also suitable for open pits and can also be installed horizontally.

The SQE pump has integrated automation that allows the pump to be used in constant pressure applications, but the pump can also be used on an on/off basis if necessary.

SQE pumps are equipped with dry-running protection/soft start and a non-return valve. Dry-running protection does not protect against continuous dry running. SQE pumps do not require a capacitor or motor thermal protection.

SQE pumps can also be used with a generator or a sine wave inverter. Their power must be at least 10% more than the maximum power requirement of the pump used. The SQE can easily be upgraded to a constant pressure solution by choosing a constant pressure package in addition to the pump, either the basic Basic model or the more extensive Premium. Without a constant pressure package, the SQE operates on the on/off principle.
