Grundfos TPE3 pumps are single-stage in-line pumps equipped with a frequency converter and a differential pressure sensor. TPE3 pumps are suitable, among other things, as circulation pumps for various heating and cooling systems and ventilation systems. The TPE3 pump is available up to 2.2 kW motor size.

TPE3 pumps are equipped as standard with a BQQE shaft seal suitable for water and water-glycol solutions. TPE3 pumps have an internal differential pressure sensor and a temperature sensor. The permanent magnet motor of TPE3 pumps has an internal frequency converter so that the pressure can be adjusted steplessly according to the flow rate. The TPE3 series is a pre-set solution that allows for quick and safe installation. TPE3 offers a colour display that makes it easy to set up the pump and allows access to all functions. TPE3 pumps are factory-set to AUTOADAPT control mode, which continuously adapts the pump capacity to the actual system demand.

The TPE3 includes integrated thermal energy measurement and temperature sensor, in addition to which only one external sensor is required for the ?T control mode. Thermal energy measurement allows the distribution and consumption of thermal energy to be monitored. It helps to prevent excessive energy bills caused by system imbalance. The TPE3’s FLOWLIMIT function and FLOWADAPT control mode can eliminate the need for a pump throttling valve and thus reduce pressure loss.
