Well Mate composite tanks are completely stainless. The operating principle is the opposite of steel tanks, where water is inside a membrane bag and air is between the tank and the bag. This is why the membrane durability of composite tanks is top-notch and that is why the tanks are given a five-year warranty. All Well Mate tanks are tested and certified by NSF International and are produced in accordance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EC. A complete water tank can easily be formed from a composite tank together with a water tank installation part.
