The optical Wiser smart smoke alarm brings smart security to your smart home. The smoke alarm detects smoke and a sudden increase in temperature and sounds an audible (85dB at 3m) signal and sends a notification to your mobile phone*. With the Wiser app, the smoke alarm can be connected to your smart home automation, allowing you to, for example, automatically close sockets in the event of a fire, turn on the lights or set all home cameras to record events on a memory card. The Wiser app also reminds you to test the smoke alarm at regular intervals. You can check the status of the device from the clear LED light and if you want to silence the device temporarily (10min), this can be done conveniently by briefly pressing the front of the device. The smoke alarm can also be used without the Wiser app, in which case it works like a traditional smoke alarm. The alarm can be wirelessly chained to other Wiser smoke alarms, which will provide a comprehensive alarm throughout the apartment if smoke or a sudden increase in temperature is detected in any room.
