The Kidde KF20R is a mains-powered optical smoke alarm with a built-in rechargeable lithium backup battery. The KF20R smoke alarm is well suited as a general household alarm. The KF20R smoke alarm can be linked to up to 23 other mains-powered Kidde alarms (ionization, optical or thermal). Once linked, a hazard detected by a single device will trigger an alarm in all connected alarms. The smoke alarm from which the alarm originates flashes a red light when it is sounding an alarm. The KF20R smoke alarm is equipped with a test/silence button, which allows regular testing of the alarm function and can also be used to temporarily silence false alarms. The smoke alarm is equipped with a dust compensation and a mosquito net to reduce false alarms.
