Roofseal penetration seals for sheet metal roofs can be used to tightly pass various pipes, such as advertising board and flagpole bases or electrical cables, through the sheet metal roof. The flexible seal allows the pipe to move, sealing the passage made in the sheet metal. Roofseal is made of EPDM rubber with a shapeable aluminum flange. EPDM rubber has the best possible weather and ozone resistance properties and can withstand continuous heat stress of + 90 °C and short-term up to + 150 °C. EPDM rubber also withstands acids and alkalis found in industrial climates. The seal is available in seven different sizes, with diameters of 12-660 mm. The retrofitted, split Roofseal is available in two sizes, with diameters of 10-100 and 100-230 mm. Roofseal is available as seals only or as complete installation kits that include screws, a clamp and sealant.
