All K EC series duct fans have duct connections that are at least 25 mm long.

All K EC series duct fans have at least 25 mm long duct connections. The fans have backward curved blades and external rotor motors. The casing is pressed from galvanized sheet steel. The fans meet the requirements of tightness class C. The FK duct connector facilitates installation and maintenance and prevents the transmission of vibrations to the duct system. The fans are delivered with a potentiometer placed in the junction box, with which the desired operating point can be easily set. Adjustment is also possible using an external voltage signal (0-10 V). The tightness class of the fan junction box is IP 55 and the M 20 cable gland is IP 68. The motors are protected against overheating by built-in thermal switches. The thermal protection is reset by switching off the supply voltage for approximately 10 minutes. The fans can be used outdoors and in damp areas, provided that they rotate continuously at some speed.
