The tank is made of stainless steel and has a capacity of 50 l. The combination includes a Hydrotube pressure water tank, pressure switch, pressure gauge, check valve, shut-off valve, plastic pipe connector, flexible steel hose and necessary connections.

The Hydrotube pressurized water tank is a steel tank with a rubber bag surrounded by pre-pressurized air. The rubber bag is made of high-quality EPDM rubber, suitable for drinking water use. The rubber bag can be removed for cleaning or replacement by removing the flange on the connection head. The pre-pressure is adjustable between 1-5 bar. The pressure can be increased or decreased using the air valve if necessary. The general rule, however, is that the pre-pressure is 0.2 bar higher than the pump's starting pressure.

Activities

When water is pumped into the rubber bag, it expands due to the water pressure. At the same time, the air between the tank and the rubber bag is compressed until the cut-off pressure is reached. Both the start and cut-off pressure are adjusted by the pressure switch. The pump starts again when the start pressure is reached when water is drawn. Air does not escape with the water, as usually happens in a conventional pressurized water tank. In the Hydrotube, the water is always fresh, the water in the tank is almost completely changed before the pump starts.

Compact tank, suitable for small spaces. Can also be installed in any position, and connected to most pump types. The useful water volume is 2-3 times larger compared to a conventional pressure tank. The useful water volume remains constant due to the adjustable pre-pressure (1-5 bar) and the flexible rubber bag.

The rubber bag of the pressure tank is easy to maintain or replace. The tank does not “sweat” because the rubber bag prevents water from coming into contact with the outer shell of the tank. In a pressure water tank, iron in the water does not precipitate because the water does not come into contact with oxygen in the air. Tanks can be connected in series to provide a larger water supply.
