The BioRami greywater treatment plant is a solution that can replace a traditional land treatment plant or modular field. The operation of BioRami is based on active biofilm. The biofilm is created on the surface of the microbial bags in the water tank when the wastewater is evenly distributed from the distributor to the biobags. The microbes use the nutrients contained in the wastewater. If the household uses a dishwasher, the wastewater contains grease and solids, which are collected in a separate septic tank before the biobags. The purified water is directed through a discharge pipe, e.g. into an open ditch or absorbed into the soil.
