Wastewater treatment system Wavin BioVision [3629017]

BioVision is designed to treat all wastewater from a single household, both black and grey, in accordance with the Wastewater Regulation for sparsely populated areas. BioVision takes up little space - it does not require a land treatment plant.
BioVision is a cost-effective solution: the septic tank is emptied about twice a year and the distribution basin and filter are washed 1-2 times a year. The system is almost electricity-free and the chemical consumption in a 5-person household is about 40 l/year.
BioVision has been tested according to the EN 12566-3+A2:2013 standard. According to the test results, the BioVision treatment plant is suitable for the normal treatment requirement areas of the Finnish Wastewater Regulation. The suitability for coastal and groundwater areas (so-called stricter requirements) is decided by the designer together with the municipal environmental authority.

The BioPlus treatment plant consists of a distribution basin, a filter and biobags. The distribution basin distributes the wastewater evenly over the surface of the biobags. The filter separates the fat that has passed through the septic tank. The biobags act as a growth medium for microbes and cleaning is carried out by means of a biofilm that forms on the surface of the biobags.

The precipitation chemical is polyaluminum chloride.
