The TL-C changeover valve is the inner part of a wall valve intended for continuous ventilation (the part that remains visible on the wall of the room). Thanks to the design of the valve, the incoming air is distributed only upwards and to the sides. The rapid mixing of the air with the warm air at the ceiling edge significantly reduces the feeling of draft, as long as the valve is installed correctly. Also suitable for underfloor heating. The valve is adjusted with the adjustment lever under the cover.
The sales package includes the valve insert with effective condensation insulation and a standard filter, as well as two pipe connections, i.e. outlet collars.
The square filter is located just under the cover, the cover can be easily pulled off. The replacement valve does not have a filter cartridge, like the complete valve packages TL100C and TL80C-dBs.
External dimensions of the valve cover: height 186 mm, width 176 mm and depth 56 mm. The changeover valve covers the existing through-hole well, a cover plate is only needed in special cases.
Installation: The changeover valve is suitable for a duct with a diameter of approximately 80 or 100 mm (outlet collars included, pipe section length 30 mm). You can upgrade your old replacement air valve with a new TL-C changeover valve and leave the old lead-through pipes and external grille in place.
The wall valve is intended for installation in bedrooms, living rooms, children's rooms and offices. The recommended location is as high on the wall as possible - and if there is a radiator in the apartment, preferably above the radiator. This will achieve the most comfortable air flow into the room. Since the incoming air is mainly directed upwards, the cold outside air has already reached a comfortable temperature very close to the valve.
Maintenance: To ensure good air quality and airflow, the filter should be cleaned/replaced 1-2 times a year. The filter is located just under the cover, and the cover can be easily opened by pulling. The standard filter can be washed with diluted detergent. The pollen filter and FlimmerFilter power filter should always be replaced with a new one.
