In addition, the ECo ceiling fan can receive a tacho output signal from which the motor rotation speed can be read. This allows the ECo ceiling fans to be connected to an automatically controlled building technology system and their operation can be monitored and controlled via a central unit. The pulse information of the tacho signal can be converted into potential-free peak information using the Eco Monitor operating monitor, which improves connectivity to various building automation systems. The ECo110 models are suitable for radon removal or as eco-toilet ventilation fans. The rotation speed of the ECo110 FLOW ceiling fan can be controlled with an external controller or connected to building automation systems.

The VILPE ​​ECo ceiling fan is powered by an EC technology-based, i.e. electronically commutated fan with a brushless EC motor. ECo ceiling fans meet the challenge of reducing overall energy consumption by saving energy, as the efficiency of a DC motor is significantly higher than that of an AC motor. Air transport power requirements calculations show that compared to an AC motor ceiling fan, the VILPE ​​ECo ceiling fan saves energy by up to 40 - 60%, depending on the intended use.
