The Grundfos CRE series is a vertical, multi-stage centrifugal pump with integrated frequency converter, with suction and discharge ports at the same level. The pump head and base are made of cast iron. Other wetted parts are made of stainless steel (EN 1.4301). The versatile CR series is suitable for pressure boosting applications, for example in industry or waterworks and in heat recovery systems in building services.

The pump motor has digital and analog inputs and outputs, as well as a connection to a bus card. For example, you can adjust the speed of the mixing pump by feeding a temperature measurement directly to the pump, or maintain a constant pressure by feeding the pump pressure data. You can order the CRE pump in a version where the pressure sensor is already connected to the pump at the factory. E-pumps also have additional features such as PLC logic. For example, you can limit the flow produced by the pump using an external flow meter and the FLOWLIMIT function.

CRE pumps are typically used in applications such as heat recovery, pressure boosting and all applications where high head is required.

E-motors are available for all models under 22 kilowatts.
