Duct insulation is made without splitting. The elasticity of the insulation allows for the installation of unspliced duct insulation at the same time as the ducts are installed. This method allows the insulation to be installed simultaneously with the installation of the ducts and almost at the same time as the ducts themselves. This also eliminates the need to add wire afterwards, resulting in an energy-efficient end result and eliminating unnecessary work steps. The seams are so-called butt seams, so they do not need to be taped.
