Ebeco Frostvakt prevents pipes from freezing and the resulting damage.
The heating cable cannot overheat because it regulates itself. Not even if it is crossed when fitting into the pipe. The cable adjusts its power itself according to the surrounding temperature. If the cables are long and installed indoors, control by means of a thermostat is recommended. Frostvakt cable does not contain PVC and is therefore well suited for drinking water pipes.
For indoor installation, a supplementary kit (pressure feedthrough) is used.
When installed indoors, Frostvakt can provide frost protection for 32 mm thick uninsulated plastic pipes down to -30°C. If higher performance is required, the pipe can be insulated. Frostvakt is available in various lengths, from 2 to 100 meters. The cable is also sold by the meter.
